Money Tree, originally called Pachira aquatica, is just a tropical shrub from the family Malvaceae.
This shrub is known by different names such as French peanut, Malabar chestnut, Saba nut, Guiana chestnut, etc.. Pachira aquatica is known as the currency plant or Currency Tree.
If you anticipate putting the stem from the water to allow the roots to develop before placing them from the soil, it should be held at least two centimeters deep in water.
But keep in mind, don't put the plant where sunlight is overly unpleasant.
Once the roots in the water grow, you may take it out and set them.
Be gentle during this technique since the origins are sensitive only at that stage. These plants are placed in shady areas with direct sunlight.
