Since succulent plants as a whole are common, easy to find and widely available in places like nurseries, florists and even your local night markets all over Singapore.

You would find rice at any obvious place, but I can certainly assure you, that buying rice in a bag from a Supermarket compared to buying truffle topped rice specially imported from overseas in a comfortable restaurant are two completely different experiences.

Of course, nobody’s stopping you from buying your own succulent plants from a ‘Pasir Malam’ and doing your own research online on how to take care of your new baby only for it to turn black and mushy within a week.

With no one to help you out, and with that night market long gone, I can only imagine how frustrating it would be to kill many Succulents and blame yourself for a lack of a green thumb.

If only there’s a support group of people who share a similar interest in taking care of succulents.
