Harbour Radiology has invested in a low-dose Siemens CT scanner to reduce the dose of radiation for our patients without compromising the diagnostic effectiveness of imaging. We are committed to ensuring you receive the highest quality of care with the lowest dose possible.

Patient-centred care is our prime aim and our team of radiographers are trained to minimise radiation and to optimise image quality with approximately 60%* radiation dose reduction compared to national average without sacrificing image quality.

* Dose calculation is subject to vary due to patient size and weight

The first step in performing a screening for pregnancy is the date of your missed menstrual period, or menses.

You can easily conduct this procedure on your own home, or at your office.

A scan can be performed through various methods such as an ultrasonogram, or even a scan done through the abdomen or belly button.

Most scans will show if you have been pregnant before, and if so, how many weeks ago.

During the scanning process, your doctor will use a device known as a Doppler ultrasound that can measure the speed at which air flows through the body.

It will provide a picture of the baby inside the womb and the position of its head, its legs in relation to the spinal cord.
