If there's one thing I've learned about Police Chief Jim Hopper on season 3 of Stranger Things, it's that the man can rock a Tom Selleck mustache while wearing a Hawaiian shirt.Twitter user Eddie Spuhghetti took the Hopper-Selleck appreciation one step further and made this fake TV trailer for the original '80s series Magnum, P.I., but with Chief Hopper (played by David Harbour) in the starring role. The fan-made trailer for Hopper, P.I.works surprisingly well as we see footage of Chief Hopper flashing around his police badge, pointing his gun and smacking around bad guys.He might not be driving Magnum's flashy red Ferrari, but the car Hopper commandeers at the gas station does just fine when he's escaping a close call or chasing down a lead.Even when Hopper holds a bag of Burger King fast food in his mouth, he looks like the quintessential nonchalant detective.

Its dual motors churn out 1,500 watts of power for a top speed of 24mph with riders up to 250 pounds.Fully charged you'll be able to travel up to 22 miles depending on the rider, terrain and settings. The Rev has three performance modes: Mode 1 does approximately 12mph; Mode 2 has a top speed of 18mph; and Mode 3 will max out the scooter at 24 mph.I personally have a lead thumb and a need for speed, so with the thumb throttle wheel pushed to the max I got about half the rated travel distance. For those in hill country, the Rev has three different ways to stop: a spoiler foot brake, a hand/disc brake and a throttle brake that can also regenerate the scooter's battery.Boosted went with air-filled tires over solid rubber with a suspension, and it works perfectly.

"Sword" and "Shield" will bring the total number of Pokémon in the series to more than 1,000, but the games wont include every Pokémon from franchise history.Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories.Players will adventure through the brand-new Galar region, capturing Pokémon and battling other trainers on their way to becoming the Pokémon champion. However, "Sword and Shield" will be the first main Pokémon games not to include every species of Pokémon in the prior games.Nintendo has revealed about 15 new Pokémon so far, and there are sure to be dozens more by time the games arrive in November. The soles of its feet can become very hot, and Scorbunny can kick opponents to damage and burn them, too!"

An email from global chairman and CEO John Seifert appeared to be an attempt to quell growing concern among employees in recent days after a Sludge report included Ogilvy on a list of contractors providing services to CBP and to counter claims on social media that the agency played a role in producing “state propaganda.”The relationship between Ogilvy and CBP had not previously been reported, and many agency staffers were unaware CBP was a client, according to multiple employees speaking on condition of anonymity.Seifert’s email to a concerned staffer was shared and quickly became a discussion point among members of an Ogilvy-only group on the anonymous messaging app Fishbowl this week, and two sources confirmed its authenticity."The fact that our work was misrepresented in social media and some press is too often a reality with no easy answers."John Seifert, global chairman and CEO, Ogilvy“I would not hesitate to speak out if I felt we were doing work that violated our culture, values and beliefs,” Seifert wrote in the email.

But as much as I personally love ebikes, eskateboards, and other e-whatevers, I’ve never wanted a scooter. In my fair city of Portland, Oregon, land of the bicycle, the only people I see on scooters are children and beer-drunk tourists.I’ve been riding the Rev around for a week now, and it’s a blast. The Rev is sleek and solid, with a textured black aluminum frame with contrasting gray tubing around the deck. The control panel consists of a single button.I kept the Rev in the advanced mode, which has responsive acceleration and a top speed of 24 mph.

Listen to Cameo's founder discuss his PR nightmare on our podcast Problem Solvers.Steven Galanis was in his office one day last November when he got a text from a guy who works for NFL legend Brett Favre.“What do we do?” And that’s how Galanis learned of the crisis about to consume his company -- and threaten its very existence.Galanis is the cofounder and CEO of Cameo, a platform that allows fans to pay celebrities for quick, personalized videos -- wishing someone a happy birthday, congratulating them on an accomplishment, and so on.The company has facilitated 200,000 videos and until then hadn’t experienced any major problems. But on that November day, things changed.

Budget MVNO Gifgaff faces a fresh challenge from Ofcom over claims it provided the regulator "inaccurate information" during a probe into its billing cock-up.The Uk comms prober opened the investigation last year and said the mobile virtual network operator may have sent inaccurate bills as a result of an error that arose from June 2016.The regulator had hoped to complete its "evidence gathering" by November 2018.However, Ofcom has said it has "reasonable grounds" to believe Giffgaff provided "inaccurate information in response to two information requests sent during the course of our investigation."Back in June last year, Giffgaff promised to refund customers after an error meant data would continue to drain their credit rather than be extracted from the allotted goodiebag allowance.A Giffgaff spokeswoman said: "As this is part of an ongoing confidential Ofcom investigation, at this stage we're unable to provide any further information."

An Italian theme park is about to become the first European site of a Legoland water park, with the Gardaland Resort in Italy soon to include a standalone Lego-branded set of slides and pools and floating bricks and whatnot.Legoland currently offers a splashing about option alongside its two US park operations and in Dubai and Malaysia, with Gardaland's expansion set to open in 2020.It's a vaguely new thing for Lego, as Gardaland doesn't currently feature an actual land-based Legoland; it's the first time the water fun concept has been unbundled from the main Legoland offering. The park will take up 15,000 square metres, which is about four acres, which is about one massive field.

A Texas federal court has granted a motion for a default judgement against two individuals who solicited money by fraudulently representing the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CTFC) in a bid to extract Bitcoin BTC from investors.Defendants Morgan Hunt and Kim Hecroft were ordered to pay almost $400,000 in civil monetary penalties and restitution in connection with the lawsuit.A US District Court found that Hunt, operating as Diamonds Trading Investment House, and Hecroft, operating as First Options Trading, ran a fraudulent program to solicit Bitcoin from citizens to invest in trading products including leveraged or margined foreign currency contracts, binary options, and diamonds. The defendants used Facebook and email to get Bitcoin from citizens, falsely claiming that they would use the funds to invest in trading for the benefit of their customers. As traders, they misrepresented their portfolio management experience, and falsely told customers they were not allowed to withdraw their purported investment profits without first paying a tax to the CFTC.They also misappropriated customer funds.

Amazon’s Alexa is all set to gain medical smarts in the UK, thanks to a partnership with the National Health Service (NHS).The healthcare service said it’s teaming up with Amazon‘s voice assistant to help answer medical queries with advice from the service’s official website. From this week, UK users who ask Alexa health-related questions — “Alexa, what are the symptoms of flu?” — will be provided with answers vetted by NHS health professionals. The UK‘s Department of Health (DoH) said the move will reduce the pressure on NHS professionals in the country, giving users an easy way to access authoritative medical advice. With voice-search technology on the rise, the DOH’s decision will likely benefit elderly people and those with visual impairments, who may otherwise struggle to look up such such information on devices with screens.Amazon currently looks up sources like Mayo Clinic and WebMD for answers related to medical queries, but adding trustworthy sources is the right way to get the right answers.

Japan’s space agency (JAXA) believes it has successfully collected the first-ever subsurface samples from an asteroid. The update came via Kyodo News at shortly before 8 p.m. PT on Wednesday, just 90 minutes after JAXA’s Hayabusa2 satellite made its second landing on the Ryugu asteroid some 200 million miles from Earth, five months after the first.Confirmation of the collection is expected to be given during a press conference at around 10 p.m. PT.The subsurface rock samples were loosened in April by a small explosive fired by Hayabusa2 from a height of about 1,500 feet. The plan is to get the material back to Earth next year, with analysis potentially offering scientists new insight into the history of the solar system and the origins of life. The state of the spacecraft is normal and the touchdown sequence was performed as scheduled.

While none of Apple’s hardware is on sale for the back-to-school season, you’ll be able to purchase your hardware through the company’s education store in order to take advantage of the promotion.Doing so lets you take up to $200 off, which comes to a savings of roughly 5-10% off retail depending on what you buy.The announcement of the sale comes at the same time as a surprise update to both its MacBook Pro and Air product lines. The biggest changes there is the addition of the Touch Bar on the entry level Pro – $1,199 with your education discount — and the addition of the 8th-Generation Intel processor found throughout the rest of the line.If you’re wondering if the new MacBook is worth it, we’ve reviewed the higher-end MacBook Pros earlier this year.At that point, you had to spend $500 more to get the better processor and Touch Bar, which we considered a bit steep for a Core i5 processor.

At the recently concluded Mobile World Congress Shanghai, we were overwhelmed by the number of companies talking big about their 5G initiatives. We were, however, also struck by the lack of actual real world implementation. But unlike blockchain, 5G is definitely not vaporware and its showcase at MWC Shanghai is a bellwether for things to come. While many carriers in the US have already rolled the new networking standard out on a limited basis, we expect major Chinese cities to see substantial coverage during 2020.5G is even more fundamental than AI: every other emerging technology will need its speed and ubiquity to be effective. However, like most technology, 5G is value neutral: that is, it’s up to people to decide how to use it and, in China, how it’s going to be used won’t match Western Enlightenment values.

It's now relatively easy to find inexpensive true wireless earphones that sound pretty decent, and if that's what you're looking for, we've got a list of the best cheap true wireless earphones. And that's where the one big caveat to all this comes into play: To get optimal performance, the best wireless headphones need to fit right -- and you have to get a tight seal.If you can't get a snug fit with in-ear headphones, you'll be sadly disappointed and think you got ripped off, which is why I suggest buying from a store -- such as Amazon -- with a decent return policy.Below is a list of the best wireless headphones, with a breakdown of features, including battery life, noise cancellation, sound and performance. At $300 (£279, AU$499), Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless are more expensive than Apple AirPods, Jabra's Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t and Bose SoundSport Free. But they sound superior to those models, with better bass and cleaner, more detailed sound.

Over a year ago, the Japanese space agency's Hayabusa2 spacecraft rendezvoused with Ryugu, a near-Earth asteroid shaped liked a diamond. On Wednesday evening, the spacecraft performed a second touchdown maneuver -- scooping up important, new samples to bring back to Earth.Ryugu is particularly rocky, meaning touchdown is a high-risk proposition. The mission is regarded as highly important because sampling the pristine subsurface rock could give us a greater understanding of the early solar system and how asteroids like this formed."We would like to cover Mercury all the way to Jupiter," said Hitoshi Kuninaka, director general of Japan's Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) prior to the mission. It's a major pivotal point and a cornerstone."

Though Fortnite became popular due to its last-player-standing battle royale mode, casual players have largely taken to the game’s Team Rumble, a Limited Time Mode that has essentially become a permanent fixture in the game.On the afternoon of July 10, Epic Games took to its Twitter account to make a simple announcement: it has changed how many kills it takes to win a match on Team Rumble.Team Rumble is a team deathmatch game mode in Fortnite battle royale. As with other team deathmatch games, the mode splits players into two different teams and pits them against each other. The first team to the reach the match’s elimination goal wins the round; players on the winning team receive additional points for their victory. This mode has proven so popular with Fortnite players that Epic largely keeps it in permanent rotation — the only changes at this point tend to be limited time tweaks, such as temporarily turning on siphoning or adding lava.
