Are you a resident of Orlando on the lookout for having Indian lunch? If yes, then you should visit a fancy and established eatery offering native and signature-style dishes served creatively with professional hospitality.

India is rich in history, traditions, and culture. An eatery with an Indian art form as part of its ambiance or one with a warm visual view can be a treat for those looking for an optical insight into the rich culture of India.

An eating house offering cuisine from different states of India and providing essential services like takeaway, curb-side pickup, wheelchair-accessible seating and a free parking lot can be useful. At lunch, a few Indian Restaurants in Orlando, serve typical North Indian cuisine dishes. Here are some you can expect to get there-

Main Veg Dishes to Try Out in Indian Eateries

1. Veg kadhai

The Kadai vegetable recipe is a simple restaurant-style side dish you can prepare at home too! Pan complete with slightly fried mix veggies is heated in tomato gravy, and flavored with fresh kadai masala here. Serve this vegetable kadai with soft phulka, mildly warm butter naan, or even mild jeera rice for a hearty meal.

Vegetable kadai is a tasty dish served with mixed vegetables. Kadai recipes are quite well-known in Indian restaurants. Kadai chicken is a well-liked side dish while vegetarians can relish kadai paneer, kadai vegetables, and kadai mushrooms.

This curry is prepared in a wok or a dense cast iron kadai. A special dry spice blend also called a kadai masala is also cooked in this dish. You fry the veggies initially then simmer them in tomato gravy and lastly put a dose of kasuri methi in this recipe. The finished curry is flavourful, slightly tangy, and finger-licking good! Serve kadai vegetables warm with jeera rice, butter naan, or steamed basmati rice. Vegetable kadai with chapati is also a very nice combination.

Other ingredients for vegetable kadai:

  • Mixed veggies- You can utilize potatoes, green bell peppers, french beans, carrots, and cauliflower. You can also utilize green peas and baby corn. While green bell pepper is a must, if you want a mild sweetness to the gravy then use red or yellow pepper.

  • Tomato gravy- The tomato gravy base is prepared with tomatoes.

  • Spices- Along with kadai masala I prefer to add a dash of turmeric powder and garam masala in this recipe.

  • Fresh cream- A little quantity of fresh cream that balances the curry along with adding a rich taste.

2. Peshawari chole

A tasty variation of white chickpeas prepared in Peshawari style. Another variation of Kabuli chana is spicy. Dry pomegranate powder creates the recipe special and distinct from Punjabi chole masala.
