During 08-13 December 2019, IAAM added another feather to its cap and expanded its horizon by organizing the first ever American Advanced Materials Congress (AAMC 2019) at the Conference Centre, Mariner of the Seas, Orlando, USA. Based on the theme, “The multi-inter-trans-disciplinary research, innovation, and technology”, the AAMC explored four major areas of research: Advanced Materials, Quantum Science and Technology, Drug Delivery and Tissue Engineering, and Membrane Science, Engineering, and Technology. The congress was in line with the core vision of the association and provided a lot of opportunities to the delegates for global networking and multidisciplinary cooperation in research.
AAMC 2019 received more than 150 abstracts from as many as 36 countries all around the globe. Moreover, the congress ran with 11 thematic sessions and included as many as 30 keynotes, invited, fellow lectures. Thus, the delegates explored the recently emerged research and findings in the field of materials science, engineering, and technology and also received abundant knowledge through the lectures and presentations.
With the help of high-quality presentations and strategically planned subjects and activities, AAMC 2019 successfully induced the spirit of cooperation and gave the delegates a glimpse of what healthy collaborations could mean for the scientific world.
