Red Rose Bouquets to Add Beauty to Celebrations

A bouquet of red roses can overwhelm anyone. Its overpowering existence and fragrance can consume people and compel them to give the sender a second look. Red rose bouquets have the desired effect when a single red rose is insufficient to communicate what is usually much more than just liking. That's probably why people like to send red roses when they want to apologize for being hurtful, offensive.

People often wonder what it is about red a rose bouquet that dramatically affects the recipient that even if they are hurting, they smile instantly and feel better. They are almost disarmed and become receptive to the sender even if they have annoyed them or hurt them beyond their tolerance level. The answer lies in the fact that getting a red rose bouquet is an exhilarating experience. It makes the recipient feel valuable as it is the ultimate expression of giving someone attention and feels like the perfect compliment. The receiver feels as beautiful as the bouquet, as essential, and as loved. That's why brides like to carry red roses to the altar.

There is, however, a subtle difference between the impact of a roses bouquet received in private and one which is received in public. For instance, when a spouse receives a red rose bouquet at the workplace, the spouse may feel special because the public display of love will lead to more significant approval and respect from colleagues. At the same time, a bouquet of red roses before a candle-lit dinner in a private dining room can also make a spouse feel rather loved.

Red rose bouquets bring not only joy but also alleviate pain. Sending one to a friend who has just been through a painful break-up, or an unwell parent, or a sibling who has not been able to manage good grades can work as a healing touch. It makes loved ones feel that there is someone to share their pain with and not alone in their sadness. This healing touch is beneficial when the sender cannot be present physically because of work constraints or other unavoidable limitations.

Traditional homes work best with traditional flowers, such as rose bouquets, gladiolus, irises, lilies, or carnations, whereas contemporary designs call for bold colors of anthuriums, heliconia, Callas, and orchids. Victorian homes look best with fragrant pastels, such as roses, peonies, lavender, gardenias, and freesia. Country homes often go for a bouquet of wildflowers like yarrow, wild roses, scabiosa, heather, daisies, or sunflowers. To instantly de-stress a home, try varieties like cyclamen, kalanchoe, pothos, ivy, sunflowers, daisies, hydrangea, delphinium, or tulips.

Sometimes Philippines flower bouquets look best when coordinated with the recipient's home decor. "The recent Harvard research is proof that if we live in places that lift our spirits, we can live happier, healthier lives," said Rebecca Cole of the Discovery Channel's Surprise By Design show. "Fresh cut flowers are the perfect everyday accessory for any budget, as they add color, fragrance, and style, and now we know they even increase energy and compassion.

Flower bouquets have been given for thousands of years to bring luck in battle, adorn lovers, celebrate kings, or provide happiness and tranquility. People often forget to stop and smell the roses during the hustle and bustle of a busy day in modern times. If people cannot get out of the office to enjoy nature, the best recourse is to bring nature to them. Studies show that having flowers in the home and workplace leads to higher productivity and creativity.
