The Maltese Falcon is a luxury clipper sail yacht owned by American venture capitalist Tom Perkins. The yacht is 88 meters long and has a design that is reminiscent of Lurssen's Eos and Royal Huisman's Athena. The Falcon's design combines modern and classic features, such as a retractable helideck for viewing the stars and a massive outdoor screen for watching movies and sporting events.

The Maltese Falcon was commissioned in 2000 by Thomas Perkins, a successful entrepreneur with an estimated net worth of $8 billion. He had previously built a 43-meter sailing yacht called the Andromede la Dea for Perkins, which he later sold to Elena Ambrosiadou. Although Perkins was a 'trophy guy', he had a relationship with Perini Navi, which helped him to commission the Maltese Falcon.

While Perkins was not involved in the design of the Maltese Falcon Yacht, he did commission it. He had previously had a relationship with the shipyard Perini Navi, which built his 43-meter sailing yacht Andromede la Dea in 1987. He commissioned the boat to be the perfect sailing vessel. However, his relationship with the shipyard was complicated and he had to wait for Perini to finish the yacht.

Perkins sold the Maltese Falcon to Elena Ambrosiadou in 2009. She is currently available for charter through SuperYachtsMonaco. The charter rate starts at EUR460,000 per week. The boat can accommodate up to 14 guests. The crew members can spend the entire week at sea on the yacht. And as a bonus, the yacht is also a great way to celebrate the arrival of a new baby.
