Individuals with permanent disability may use a permanent parking placard. It has a two-year validity period and expires on June 30 of each odd-numbered year.

For California residents who hold a permanent DP parking placard or Disabled Person/Disabled Veteran license plates, this is a travel parking placard. It is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance by the DMV.

Your permanent placard will not need to be renewed.
