Advanced ART courses for clinicians

Advanced ART courses are the study of assisted reproductive technologies. One could study about it's procedure, devices  designed for assisted  reproductive technologies, advantages  of ART, types of ART, success rates of ART etc.

The success   rates   of fertility clinics, and Certification Act of 1992 defines Assisted   Reproductive Technology (ART) as all fertility medicaments in which either eggs, sperms or embryos are handled.

Generally, ART procedures include removal of eggs from woman's ovaries by surgery, fusing   them with   sperm in a fertility lab and then  placing  them  back  in  the  woman’s  body  or  donating  them  to  another  woman (surrogate).  To perform ART procedures, purpose of having the eggs retrieval   is very important. Medicaments   that cornerstone the handling of sperms or procedures that only stimulate egg   production in women are not involved in ART procedures.

Infertility  being  seen as crucial health problem by the World Health Organization (WHO). Even though sterility is  curable, it  is  still  perceived  as  a  prohibition  in  the  less  developed  or  developing  nations  where  the  woman  is  criticized,  irrespective  of   her  reproductive  health  therefore  she carries  the  blame  of  the  inability  to  produce  a  biological  child.

Apart from  the  social   consequence and  obtaining  acceptance  in  society, there   are   medical  advantages  of  opting   for  various ART  procedures. ART  procedures   open   different    options   for  giving  birth to the  child. The  couples  could  either  opt  for  egg donation, sperm,  or  gestational  carriers (surrogacy)   also different procedures like IUI, IVF, ICSI.  The   eggs  could also  be cryopreserved  for  future  use. This  procedure helps  couples   who  want  to  set-back   their  pregnancy  due  to  personal  reasons.  There   are  expanded   chances   of   conceiving  a    child  which is healthy and  little-bit   chances  of   facing   miscarriages. Treatments of infertility  in India  have  made  considerable  progress. MedTech company conducted a research during 2019-2020. According  to  this  research,  nearly 27.5 million couples  suffer from infertility, who  actively  try  to  conceive,  and  this number  is  expected  to raise by  10%   by  2020. Treatment of infertility such as  IVF  has  large success rate in  treating infertility.

This  is a certified course with  promising  future  opportunities. The  course  is  a  perfect combination of theoretical  knowledge  and  practical training.

Why  study  of  ART has  so much  of  scope and why IIRRH is  best ART training  institute

By the birth of the world’s first test-tube baby in 1978, the field of Reproductive   Medicine has seen a reverberation in India. The Indian IVF epic has been in the limelight   due to this breakthrough in India and has been a  popular  topic  of  conversation among  the  media. 10 to 14 percent of the  Indian  population  are suffering from infertility with  higher  rates in  urban  areas  where  1 out  of  6  couples  is  impacted  with  infertility. Infertility has been deliberated  as a  taboo  in  India  and   persist as  an under-researched  reason  for  failed  marriages in  the country. However, in latterly years a shift in  the discernment is seen  among  the  urban population and couples  have  begun to opt for  fertility  treatments  as  a  means  to  achieve  parenthood.

IIRRH, in association with  University of VIT, NITTE University, as well as Bangalore University for PhD  in reproductive biology is offering  Advanced Assisted Reproductive Technologies courses for clinicians and embryologists intending  to  equip  post-graduates  in  life  sciences and medical graduates  in  the  disparate  aspects  of  Clinical Embryology or Assisted  Reproductive  Technology.
