Creating the custom fire department posters are our passion! We put our two experiences together and create a design that is totally unique and not available anywhere else but on our site.
Lt. Michael Frey, who has 21 years of experience in the FDNY, and myself, with over 27 years of graphic design experience started working on this idea in 2016, when we realized there weren’t really any cool looking posters that honored the fire service. In June of 2020, on our 25th wedding anniversary, we launched our official site with approximately 20 designs, and it’s been growing ever since.
Many of the firefighter poster to print designs we come up with, are inspired by places we’ve visited or are well known fire departments in various towns and cities. However, we welcome all fire departments to contact us for their special projects, no matter how small or remote. The fire department posters are all about the surrounding area or history of that department and the people in them. The images of the fire station building, or notable buildings in the area, as well as their trucks are all important considerations for custom poster.
We have several ways that make it simple to get your firefighter poster to print! We created a very simple online form with a few options depending on what your requirements are. We can take one of our existing designs and modify the numbers on trucks, modify the actual trucks, or create an entirely new design made especially for your department! We are also happy to chat on the phone with you – yes, you’ll speaking directly with us, not a customer service person, or someone in another country. Because we are so passionate about what we are creating, we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Once we receive your images and any ideas you’d like to share, we’ll get started on some sketches to present to you to, and make sure you are happy with the general direction we’re headed in. As we progress through the design stages, we’ll send you updates so we’re all on the same page. In about 4-8 weeks, we’ll have a final firefighter poster to print ready for you and your department. As new members join, they too will be able to show their company pride by hanging the fire department poster in their home and sharing with their families.
