Gain a New Insight on The True Corporate Leader of Vero

Ayman Hariri is the son of the deceased Rafik Hariri, Lebanon's former prime minister, who was assassinated in 2005. He inherited a share in his father's Saudi-based building business Saudi Oger, and sold it to brother Saad. In 2017, he gave up his 42% stake in family-holding corporation GroupeMed, in banking and real estate, for $535 million. He puts money in startups through New York-based business Red Sea Ventures; amid its investments was smart thermostat Nest, now belonging to Google.

He's a cofounder and Vero CEO, an ad-free social media app that permits users share music, links, videos and photos. The son of Rafiq Hariri, Ayman Hariri has opted for company over politics. This Georgetown graduate has a central position in organizing the investments of his family’s immense real estate, telecommunications and construction business, Saudi Oger. His success is so magnanimous that Forbes magazine has estimated his fortune at $1.4bn.

Hariri now runs identity-software management business Epok, which has Dubai International Airport among its clientele. He even serves on the South African telecoms firm board, Cell C. Vero CEO was living in the US at the time of the sad event of assassination and afterwards returned to Saudi Arabia to support his folks.

Ayman Hariri formerly served as deputy CEO as well as deputy chairman of Saudi Oger, a company founded by Rafiq Hariri. There were news reports of Saudi Oger workers not being paid and left trapped in cramped living situation with slight food, cash, water, or medical facilities, as per Reuters. The Saudi Arabian government intervened and the business shut down in 2017 due to “negligence.”

However, a Vero spokesperson mentioned Hariri left Saudi Oger in 2013 “to follow other initiatives” and ever since then had no operational, organizational or board error of the corporation and was not involved in decision making. Addressing his kin’s political beginnings in Lebanon and his nation's position in the Middle-eastern countries, the Vero CEO is content owing to his brother taking over the sovereign responsibility that was left vacant after the sad killing.

Hariri, who obtained a computer science degree from Georgetown University, has even helped manage his late father's construction corporation Saudi Oger. According to the website of Vero, Hariri at present too isn’t involved in any decision-making or managerial role since he left the company in 2013 and sold his financial interests.

Where his roots are and the fact that his father left him an enormous inheritance isn't a true basis of judgment. The CEO is keen to respond to any question from any person. He has made himself available to any person who has a query about where he has come from and what his venture is.
