L'activation du laser

I need a laser pointeur for professional use. It's easy enough to attach to the pistol if you have at least half a brain. I'm back again to tell you that I added a small magnet to two of my other diodes and the ECR works like a charm in both of them, every time. The blue beam is powerful, visible even in sunlight. It installed fairly easily. Zeroing is straightforward. It has a U-Tube video that makes the zero process simple. The laser's light weight makes it very convenient. There is a small ECR pocket diode included which works very well. It offers ECR capable diodes from several different manufacturers. I found mine on this store priced at over 30% off MSRP. Still, this product oozes quality soundness and impressive aesthetics. This product makes my EDC feel like a million bucks.

The ECR/Off/On button is tricky and often takes multiple button presses in just the right spot to turn the unit off/on or changing from steady to pulse. (The most sure-fire way to use this red laser is to turn it on and set the mode before leaving home and then carry it in an ECR capable diode. You wouldn't want to try to get the Reactor 5 going if there was a confrontation in progress.) This diode/laser combo is absolutely the BEST period. I'm a gun enthusiast and have seen plenty of low profile diode... This one by far is the best! You're useless! Please go practice somewhere quietly before posting some BS review. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy some cheap items. As a home user changing the batteries after use at the range is not a big deal. All of this means that you need bigger batteries that last less as long than a similar red laser.

I bought this red laser pointer because it is reported and proven to be more visible at longer distances and faster to require. I understand the limitations of the blue laser (that it is a high drain on current). All of this conversion sucks up battery power so that maybe only 15% of the batteries energy is actually. I've not seen those issues. The 15-yard range I calibrated at stayed right there and is easily compensated for at 10 or 20 yards. The sharp edges can be an annoyance for someone with large fingers; for me, it was not a significant problem if I don't use the first knuckle as I tend to do on my .357 due to the recoil. It's comfortable enough though with the slight finger change on the trigger or by filing the edges.

Adjustments stay where I put them through many practice sessions and cleanings. I sincerely hope I never have to use the gun to defend myself or family, but if I do, I think this laser pointer could be a lifesaver. Now, there are some issues I have with it. As mentioned in other reviews, you have to remove the whole thing to replace the battery, as opposed to a battery cover. Maybe after some time, as I don't want to mess with it yet, just bought it. The ECR function works well with the included diode, but I will purchase an aftermarket diode for everyday carry. I was pleasantly surprised by how visible the blue laser is even in bright sunlight. It is very bright at those kinds of distances and very easy to pick up and get on target. So this understanding of use for the blue laser I well understand well so just like when you use ammunition at the range.

Installation was a breeze and the laser hugs the trigger guard well. It was a little tricky snapping the last piece in. It means business: this blue laser is extremely bright. I have yet to take this bad boy to the range, but I will update this review when it happens! I haven't tried it outside yet, but in a dimly lit/pitch black room, it seems to brighten up the surrounding area like a powerful 10 laser pointer. There is a small hum when active (which I think sounds beautiful!). With an ECR diode, the simple activation via magnet is impressive- it puts a smile to my face every time I draw my firearm from my diode and it is beaming in front of me.

My only use so far is when swapping out diodes for EDC (since laser auto-activates out of diode). I would say that I only averaged this type of use 2-3 days a week. Overall, I would have thought the battery would have lasted a bit longer than I expected. It is still a great product even though I would describe battery life as subpar. Although it is decent, it is relatively fragile. The adjustment screws are fine, until they strip, which mine did immediately. Luckily I was as close to zero at 30 feet as I could get before it would not adjust anymore, not sure if its the screw or the teen that stripped, ill investigate that further later. The diode is surprisingly well made and comfortable, easy to draw and re diode. Its no Kydex shell hybrid or anything, but it gets the job done. It is very bright, but the only activation switch is at the front of the laser housing on the left side. Unless you are left-handed and have an EXTREMELY long trigger finger, you cannot activate it.
