Does customer satisfaction end with solving the problems of customers? Is it enough if you impart customer service skills in your team members? Let your customer service staff be consistent.

 

Your customer service team may consist of a number of members and you may have imparted customer service skills in them. But are they passing on the same messages to your customers? Of course, every human being is different and hence, their perspective will differ also. This does not mean that there should be inconsistency in the messages they pass on to the customers. 

 

That they are getting inconsistent guidance is a common complaint received from customers. If you have identified such an issue in your company, you have to correct it forthwith. The question now is: What should you do if some customers find these charges not affordable? The best way is to try to provide them with  a win-win solution. It is by offering the best possible customer service that comes within their budget, you can certainly create a moment of magnificence for these customers. In fact, by making this offer, you will not only not lose the customers but can gain their loyalty as well. 

 

Another benefit you can possibly derive is that these customers can become big in future. They will never forget your gesture of offering the best possible service at a cost that they could afford. 

 

Provide your customers with proper guidance.

 

You and your customer service executives may come across customers who do not know what they want or those who have made wrong choices. If you and your team members guide them properly and help them choose the right items, these customers will consider those moments as moments of magnificence.

To summarize, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering moments of magnificence to customers by adopting consistency in your approach, taking care of their needs by offering solutions that come within their budget, and by guiding them in the most appropriate manner is the key to achieve your aim of standing out from the crowd. This means that  you should impart such customer service skills in your customer service staff that they consistently stick to the above dicta.
