There are several reasons to share a Google Calendar with someone. You may want to share the calendar with your family, friends, colleagues, or classmates. So, if you wish to know how to share a Google Calendar, then follow the instructions mentioned below.

Steps to Share a Google Calendar Through Google Users

•    Go to the Google Calendar by visiting calendar.google.com.

•    In the Google Calendar, you will get the calendar menu list, which is named as My calendars.

•    Move the mouse cursor above the calendar which you wish to share with anyone.

•    You will get the three dots symbol near to it.

•    Press on the three dots symbol.

•    Choose the Settings & Sharing option provided on the context menu.

•    Now, the Settings tab gets open on the desktop.

•    If you are finding the “Share with specific people” option, then you need to go down till you get it.

•    Otherwise, you can use the sidebar given to the left-hand side of the display.

•    Once you have got this option, press on the Add people option.

•    Now, you will get the “Share with specific people” menu on display.

•    You will get the option to type the email ID and name on the screen.

•    Google also find the users name who included the calendar on the account associated with Google.

•    Once you have selected the contacts with whom you wish to share the calendar, then select what activity the contacts can perform in the calendar by changing the Permissions setting.

•    See only free or busy option will let the contacts to know on which time you are free and busy. But it will not show any other details, and they can’t edit any of your things.

•    The “Makes changes and allow sharing” option permits the users for sharing the events also and providing the access so that they can use your calendar as you can.

•    You can adjust these settings anytime for every user separately.

•    Press on an azure color Send option located in the end right-hand side of the screen.

•    It will start adding the users whom you have to send the invitation for viewing and accessing the calendar.

Steps to Share a Google Calendar with Non-Gmail Users

•    Search for the “Access permissions” option by going to the calendar settings.

•    Gpo down till you will get it.

•    Otherwise, you need to start using the sidebar to the left-hand side of the screen.

•    You have to change the privacy of the calendar into the public.

•    You can do this procedure by pressing on the box provided near to the “Make available to the public” button.

•    It also uses the calendar by visiting Google.

•    If you don’t have any problem, then press on the OK button.

•    Now, the calendar settings change into the public.

•    You have to send a URL to people who are non-Gmail users for sharing your calendar with them.

•    You will get a notification box at the end of the display.
