OTT Regent of North Lampung, the COMMISSION Set Six Suspects

KPK - The Corruption Eradication commission (KPK) establishes the Regent of North Lampung, Agung Ilmu Mangkunegara along with five other people as suspects in the bribery case related to the project in the Department of Public works and People's Housing (PUPR) and the department of Trade in the District of North Lampung.

“After conducting the examination, the title of the case, within the time limit of 24 hours as set forth in the code of criminal procedure, the COMMISSION concluded the existence of alleged corruption received a gift associated with the project in the Department of public works and human settlements and the Department of Trade, District of North Lampung,” said KPK Deputy Chairman Basaria Panjaitan at the KPK Building in Jakarta, Monday (7/10).

The sixth suspect was composed of four people suspected as the recipient of the funds which the Regent of North Lampung, Agung Ilmu Mangkunegara (AIM), Raden Syahril (RSY) who is a trust Attorney, the Head of the Department of maritime and fishery Kabupaten Lampung Utara Syahbuddin (SYH), and Head of the Department of Trade, District of North Lampung Wan Hendri (WHN).

HWS handed over Rp 300 million to WHN and then WHN handed over the money of Rp 240 million in RSY (in the amount of Rp 60 million are still on WHN)," said Basaria.

"This money allegedly associated with the three projects in the Department of Commerce,” said Basaria.

The third project is the construction of a Traditional Market Village Comook Sinar Jaya, Kecamatan Muara Sungkai Rp 1.07 billion, the construction of the Traditional Market Village of Karangsari, Kecamatan Muara Sungkai Rp 1.3 billion, and construction the physical construction of the people's market Layout Works (DAK) of Rp 3.6 billion.
