Olive oil:Olive oil is derived from the whole olives. It helps control the high cholesterol level and reduces the chances of heart diseases and creatinine levels. The nutritional value of olive oil is as follows (per tablespoon):

• Sodium: <1 mg
• Potassium: <1 mg
• Phosphorus: 0mg

It can be consumed in cooking vegetables, salad dressing and messaging.

Canola Oil: Canola oil is the health-friendly oil derived from the seeds of the rape plant. It is phosphorus-free, potassium free and a heart health booster. We need Omega-3 to maintain the balance of wastes and chemicals in the body. Canola oil is a great source of Omega-3 and that is why it is termed as the kidney and heart-friendly oil. The nutritional value of olive oil is as follows (per tablespoon):

• Sodium: <1 mg
• Potassium: <1 mg
• Phosphorus: 0mg

It can be consumed in cooking vegetables, salad dressing and messaging.
So these were the oils that help in reducing the creatinine level naturally. There are other methods as well provided by Karma Ayurveda to lower the creatinine levels naturally.

Other methods to lower high creatinine levels are:

• Drink cranberry juice
• Eat fresh fruits & vegetables
• Avoid junk food
• Avoid foods that are rich in protein
• Eat cucumber, apples, mangoes, bananas, etc.
• Drink plenty of water
• Avoid frozen & canned foods
• Avoid spicy & oily foods
• Eat vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, bottle guard, cauliflower, etc.
• Drink carrot & radish juice

The normal range of creatinine is shown in the chart below. If you have creatinine level higher than these, seek a doctor’s advice.

In Blood:

• Man: The normal creatinine level should be between 0.6 to 1.2 mg/Dl
• Woman: The normal creatine level should be between 0.5 to 1.1 mg/Dl
• Teenager: 0.5 to 1.0 mg/Dl
• Child: 0.3 to 0.7 mg/Dl

In Urine:

• Man: 107 to 139 mL/min
• Woman: 87 to 107 mL/min
