Method 1: Resetting the SMC if Bluetooth not present

Reset the SMC (non-removable batteries)

  2. Then, you need to plug in the power adapter.
  3. After that, press the combination of Shift+Control+Option as well as Power switch altogether for a few seconds.
  4. Note that you need to lift up your fingers altogether.
  5. Lastly, you need to boot the Mac device.
     
     
Reset the SMC (removable batteries)

  2. Then, take out the battery.

  5. Next, search for the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file.

  7. Lastly, reboot your Mac device.
     
     
Method 3: Remove downloads

  1. Firstly, Download CleanMyMac X.
  2. Open it.
  3. Then, press on Large and Old Files.
  4. After that, choose the new downloads that you want to delete.
  5. Next, tap on Clean.
     
     
If you wish to remove downloads manually, you should do it in the Finder.
 
 
  1. Firstly, go to the Finder.
  2. Then, put the combination of Command+Shift+G.
  3. After that, write ~/.
  4. Next, do a double click on the Downloads folder.

If you got an application associated to a downloaded item and you think that it is the reason behind the malfunctioning of your Bluetooth, then you should use CleanMyMac X for deleting it:
 
 
  1. Firstly, go to CleanMyMac X.
  2. Then, press on Uninstaller.
  3. After that, choose the application which you wish to delete from the list.
  4. Next, tap on Uninstall.
 
 
Method 4: Reset the Bluetooth module
 
  1. Firstly, do a long press on the Shift+Option button of your keyboard.
  2. Then, press the Bluetooth menu.
  3. After that, press on the Debug.
  4. Next, choose Remove all devices.
  5. Then, press Debug one more time. 
  6. After that, choose ‘Reset the Bluetooth module’.
  7. Next, restart the Mac device.
  8. Lastly, you need to repair all of your Bluetooth devices.
