Katadata.co.id - U.S. president Donald Trump is expected to delay the imposition of tariffs on imports of cars and spare parts from the European Union.
European Union officials who know these things reveal, the delay of the tariff is likely enforced for the next six months.
Administration Trump has set a deadline until 13 February to decide whether to impose a tariff of 25% for cars made in Europe and spare parts under the trade laws.

Secretary of Commerce U.S. Wilbur Ross, said the United States may not need to put on such rates after holding talks with a number of car manufacturers in the European Union, Japan and South Korea.
A White house spokesman said Trump is focusing his speech on how tax and trade policy can support the recovery and strengthening of the country's economy.
Palm Oil - Trade minister Agus Suparmanto said Indonesia will sue the European Union to the World Trade Organization (WTO) this year.
“We will schedule (filing a lawsuit) at least this year there is one round one so there is progress,” he said in the office of the coordinating Ministry for Economic affairs, Jakarta, Tuesday (12/11).
Agus said it also will conduct talks with the European Union related product of palm oil and its derivatives, as well as restrictions on the content of palm oil in the food.
He explained, before registering a lawsuit to the WTO, the government certainly needs time to prepare the lawsuit.
The Panel will be formed when there is no collective agreement with the Eu.
