For all JEE Aspirants out there, who have been busy preparing for the JEE Main Exams this year, it’s time to buckle up your shoes and begin serious revisions of the syllabus. two more months for the JEE Main Exam to begin. So students must start gearing up for the exam and begin with their revision plans as soon as possible.

Here are few essential ‘Two-Months Revision Strategies’ for students preparing for JEE Main Exam:

  • Start practicing more problems (preferably 50-100 problems a day) including all the three subjects of JEE Main.
  • Remember, JEE Main Exams would test your knowledge of the basic concepts. So start brushing up your basics and solve more problems to achieve accuracy.
  • Prepare a schedule that would divide the study hours of a day equally for all subjects. Of course, an increase in study hours is a must now but it should yield positive results for you.
  • Practice solving problems with time limits. Use stopwatches to see how much time you require to solve a particular equation. Try to practice more of similar problems and reduce the time taken to solve it. Speed is acquired through regular practice and it is a determining factor for JEE Main exams.
  • Focus more on your weak points now and try to overcome them as soon as possible. Do not loose track of your strengths and keep practicing them often to remember the concepts.
  • Try studying difficult chapters at that time of the day when you are most active and fresh. Some people are energetic in the morning hours whereas some people work their best at night.
  • At this point of time, you should focus more on practicing important chapters, which are likely to appear in the exams.
  • Try solving previous years question papers to know the important questions.
  • Also schedule a Self-test session for yourself at the end of the day, daily. This would help you know where you stand and how much has the study benefited you.
  • Start clarifying your doubts and areas of difficulty so that you don’t have to panic before the exam.
  • If you attend coaching classes for JEE Main, ask your teachers to give you more sample tests to appear and rank your performances. Go through all those notes you have got from there and also clarify doubts about chapters or concepts, if any.
  • It’s time that you revise the problems and numerical given in the JEE Main Preparation Books and Study Materials to brush up what you had studied.
  • Start utilizing different memorization techniques to learn various concepts, equations and numerical problems so as to increase your recall power during JEE Exams.
  • Last but not the least, always have a positive attitude and remember that only an intense, dynamic and contemplated study will yield you the desired result.
