In terms of the evolution in tech, it is quite clear that with time every product has a lifeline. During a technology’s lifecycle, a time does occur when it faces a slop or depreciates. Likewise most certainly is the case with mobile applications as well. It has always been stated by expert mobile app developers that the lifespan of an app drops down when their accessory creators or third party developers stop paying much attention towards in terms to maintaining and featuring it to be competent in the market. 

The tech evolution cycle is analyzed as a totally natural implementation in its ecosystem. Though the process requires the adaption of a newer product to be introduced that is capable to take over the old products. So it is the very same in the case of apps. It is crucial to create an app that features better to overtake the old app with a more innovative perspective. This is important progress that allows advancement to better prevail. The same is being done with WhatsApp, it is adapting newer features that the old phones will not be able to access due to which many older phones in 2020 won’t be able to use WhatsApp anymore.    

WhatsApp will be abandoning old phones that have outdated versions Window, iPhone and Android 

Rendering to what is being specified on “WhatsApp’s FAQ page” is that the app will no longer support any older phones. This has to straddle many of big manufacturers and operating systems. This will be get implemented from 1st Feb 2020 while no Windows phone will be able to access WhatsApp from 31st December 2019. The dates have been clearly been mentioned on the WhatsApp FAQ page. It also adds that iPhones with iOS 8 versions, Android devices running version 2.3.7 or any older version will no longer support WhatsApp. While it is also rumored that WhatsApp may not be obtainable from Microsoft Stores after 1st July 2019. These changes are being progressively executed as WhatsApp is gradual turns towards the newer and much more modern/ advanced software editions that the old phone and their software versions will not be able to accommodate it.  

People are questioning if there are any other possibilities to use WhatsApp. 

If you are also using either of the mentioned old phone version that have been stated above then surely WhatsApp will stop operating on them by the end of February 2020. The termination of WhatsApp is varying based on the device that is being used. It would be a good time that you consider newer ways to correspond for free if you intend to keep your old phones. There are many other apps that you could install that have similar features like WhatsApp and they are adaptable to any version.
