Water Garden! Beauty All Around

Installing a water garden or another water feature on a lawn does not have to be complicated. Water gardens and fountains make lovely accent pieces for a home or property. Create a unique look and give a lawn great curb appeal during the spring and summer months of the year with a water garden.
A homeowner or gardener will need to decide where they want it to put. The grass and any roots that are in that area will need to be removed and clean out before anything else. There is a wide selection of prefabricated liners available that can be purchased at a garden center or ordered from stores online. There are also soft liners to buy so that a homeowner can be creative and can determine the size and shape they will want their water garden to be. Once all debris has been removed, the liner can be installed carefully to make sure that no holes come in the liner and that nothing will puncture it once it is in place. Add a pump so that the water can be circulated to prevent the water in the garden or fountain from becoming stagnant water.
Large stones can also be added around a soft plastic liner so that it will stay in place and will not move. Once the pump and the liner are installed and are ready the water can be added to make sure everything is in working order. If everything is working, then the excellent water plants can be added such as Red Cardinal flowers. It is excellent to plant them in small buckets and add some rocks to them to keep them secure and in place when in the water. A water garden will bring lots of wildlife to the area, and they will love the water plants. Water gardens are great places for frogs and other small water wildlife to hide and feel safe and secure. The home owner's imagination can go wild when designing and creating a water garden or other water feature on a lawn.
When it comes to one's garden, it is easy to sit back and ponder on thoughts but, do we have the strength and determination to make it come to pass? Of course, many of us sit back and dream but lack the actual desire to make it come true while others of us get up and do it!
Which one are you?
I am a go-getter! I want to sit back and dream about my dream, but then I make it come true. For most homeowners, they have the desire but may lack the resources to get the job done. Why let that stop you? Most of us think you have to have a lot of extra money to create a gorgeous landscape, but you don't. We have the resources all around us; it's just about using our imagination to get it achieved.
Water features and water gardens are an excellent way to bring peacefulness into the yard, and they can be made without a lot of money. Do you have an old bucket sitting around, how about an old tire? Use them to create a water garden.

Old tires can be put into place and then a few trash bags lining them or black plastic, then once that is in place, you can fill it with water(this is also a redneck swimming pool if the wheel is large enough lol). Old buckets can be adhered together with glue or cement and then filled with water to create a serene look. Once you have a water garden going, you can then add water plants that will help keep the algae down and supply oxygen to the water.
You can add KOI and give more life to your water garden. Water gardens don't have to be extravagant, just pure and clean. Getting outside and using a little imagination is the first step. Digging holes of multiple sizes, lining them with plastic, using resources from around the home is all a great start.
Anyone can have a great looking yard, and it doesn't have to be extravagant, and one doesn't have to spend a lot. Fern plants are a great option to add as well.
