Wii u pro controller

The Wii U, Nintendo's upcoming console release, features an innovative tablet controller. But Nintendo is also introducing its own "Pro" controller, for gamers who want more command than a tablet or Wii remote can provide.

The Wii U uses a bigger gamepad which Xbox One and PlayStation don’t use. Xbox One and PlayStation have unique, exceptional and conventional gamepads that are perfect for most of the recent games. If you want to have it with Wii U, then you need to have a different controller. You can use the GameCube Adapter and GameCube controller, but the most straightforward way would be using the Wii U pro controller.

The Wii U Pro Controller is an optional accessory for the Wii U that serves as an alternative to the Wii U GamePad. It replaces the Wii Classic Controller Pro, and was replaced by the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. It has the same overall button layout as the Wii U GamePad, in a more traditional controller layout, however it lacks motion control sensors, camera, NFC Pad, headphone jack and touchscreen.

However, when actually playing Mashable found the triggers "responsive and placed correctly" and they "never felt like I was fighting against the controller." Engadget agreed, as "it rumbles as you'd expect and functions admirably in time-sensitive situations.

Do you prefer using a traditional console controller to play on the Wii? Let us know in the comments.
