President Joko Widodo officially set the status of the emergency response of public health to cope with the pandemic virus corona or Covid-19 in Indonesia. the president said, the government has issued Government Regulation (PP) and Presidential decree (Decree) regarding the status of the emergency public health.
With the publication of the PP and the presidential Decree, Jokowi asked all regional leaders to follow central government. "The area I'm not to make their own policy. all policies in the area should be in accordance with the regulations, within the corridor of Law, PP, as well as the presidential Decree," said Jokowi at the Presidential Palace in Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (31/3).
With the determination of the status of emergency public health, the government choose the option Restrictions on Large-Scale Social (PSBB) to handle the outbreak of corona. According to Jokowi, the decision was taken in a cabinet meeting with the ministers.

Pandemi virus corona memberikan pukulan berat bagi perekonomian pada kuartal kedua tahun ini.
Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani memperkirakan pertumbuhan ekonomi pada tiga bulan kedua 2020 akan terkontraksi 3,8%, menurun dari perkiraan sebelumnya minus 3,1%.
"Kita masih beruntung pada kuartal I masih bisa tumbuh 2,97%.
Namun kuartal II ini memang kita akan hadapi tekanan yang tidak mudah," kata Sri Mulyani dalam diskusi daring, Jumat (19/6).Sebelumnya, Mantan Direktur Pelaksana Bank Dunia ini memproyeksikan pertumbuhan ekonomi kuartal II akan turun minus 3,1% akibat pemberlakuan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar secara penuh pada periode tersebut.
