How Conversational AI Is Transforming the Customer Navigation

How does conversational AI change the customer journey? Mike Rainer hosted a panel at World Summit AI and discussed with four experts working on startups that shape the future of the way humans interact with chatbots. Panel discussions range from current business applications of technology to what we expect from future chatbots. As the proliferation of such technology with consumers and businesses grows, there is a recurring question: Is conversational AI as developed as we think it is? The current state of conversational AI At the moment, chatbots have limited capabilities: Siri is too task-direct and unable to understand abstract concepts. Philippe Heltweig, CEO of Cognigi, commented that we need to forget the child’s idea of using chatbots for any purpose and to treat them as a tool for a specific purpose. Chatbot communication is useful when addressing a simple task: changing a hotel reservation, booking a flight ticket, ordering food, and so on. Currently, we cannot contact the chatbot when interacting with another person. USM is providing cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to transform your business. Though we started our journey as an IT staffing firm, USM has steadily evolved as a leading provider of technology-driven solutions. To know more… The inability to talk to the chatbot naturally is a problem that startups like Poly AI try to solve. That is why they are coming up with the next generation of chatbots: they are more flexible in terms of conversation inputs and help in responding. Nicola Mirick, CEO of Poly AI, told us that the ultimate communication agent is not here yet and has never been here, but the company is desperately trying to create an experience that allows humans to speak naturally. The conversation is the future of AI As of now, some B2B startup companies are dedicated to integrating chatbots for businesses. These chatbots usually prove to be successful in providing customer support or increasing sales. Two startup CEOs: Michael and Asa, asked how excited they were about the future of AI. They both agree that chatbots that can understand human emotions are game-changers. Michael Da Costa, CEO, and Founder of Leado, a conversational agent that converts web traffic to leads, tells us that understanding his human psychology will increase conversion numbers, even if his startup does a fantastic job of converting leads. Humans sometimes do little to transcribe feelings and thoughts into words a chatbot that scans emotions can help. Some startups are working to capture human facial expressions and convert them into biometric data. In this way, scanning the face of the software can see if the user has high pulsations. Brainworks.ai is developing an app that tries to do this directly through the user’s smartphone. What’s next? After the final chatbot appeared, it was a game-changer. At that point, chatbots are democratized, and it looks like Wicks or Squarespace of Chatbots. For now, we must stick to chatbots for businesses that solve work-based problems before the average consumer can build their own.
