About Surah Al-Waqi’a
Surah Al-Waqia is the 56th Surah of the Holy Quran. The meaning of the Surah al-Waqia can be interpreted as the event or the inevitable. There are total of 96 verses in this single Surrah. This Surah has divided 96 verses in three sections or Rukus. The name of the Surah takes from the earlier verse إِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَة ُ. However, the Day of Judgment is inevitable which will take place at any cost because it is clear in this sacred book Holy Quran. On the other hand, there is a contradiction in this Surah. Some scholars said that this Surah was revealed in Madina, whereas some scholars said it was revealed in Mecca. Apart from this, few of them said it was revealed Mecca but a little part in the Madina.
However, it is crystal clear that we can take assistance from the revelation of Surah Taha, which was revealed after Surah Waqiah. Thus, it is not wrong to estimate that Surah Waqia was revealed 6 to 7 years ago in Mecca before the migration to Madina.
This precious Surah discusses the last day, and it exposes the entire scenario of the discourse which will take place on the last day. Similarly, it tells about the last day that how people will be marked in three groups. Additionally, it also teaches us that the conditions of every group. It would also tell us about the punishment, and the rewards to the people in this world and hereafter.
Surah-Al-Waqiah Hadith
The Holy Quran is the sacred book revealed by Allah to His Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). So, every verse of this book as a guideline for human beings. Similarly, this verse also has a positive impact on human life. Once upon a time, the Prophet of Allah also suggested that whoever would recite surah al Waqia at night he would never face poverty in his lifetime. (Ibn Sunni 620). Similarly, the Prophet of Allah said that Surah al Waqia is the Surah of Wealth, so you need to recite yourself and teach it to your children. (Ibn Kasir).
On the other hand, an incident took place in which Ibn Katheer that there was a time when Abdullah ibn Masud was suffering from the illness. The Amirul Mumin Usman Ghani Radhi Allahu anhu went to visit him and asked what he needs he can help him. Abdullah said I need nothing, and then Usman Ghani (RA) asked him should I provide you the aid as your children can survive after you. So, Abdullah said that do you think they would ever feel hungry because I have asked them to recite every night surah al waqia. Therefore, it is crystal clear here that who so ever loves to stable himself, then he needs to recite surah al Waqia at night time.
Memorize
It is the only Holy Book in the world that can guide us for a better life. However, there are numerous tips to memorize it, but the best one tip is to divide this surah al waqia into three parts. It means there are 96 verses in this Surah, so you can memorize three verses in a day. So, a whole surah al waqia you can memorize in 32 days. You must not forget that you need to memorize while reciting it loudly because, in this way, you can listen to it back and memorize it. Once you memorized, then you would never forget it if you recite it on a daily basis.
Benefits of Surah Al-Waqiah
Allah Almighty has put innumerable advantageous in his sacred deen-e-Islam. Every verse not, but even a word of the Holy Quran is full of benefits. Apart from this, Allah Almighty has provided every verse a different benefit for the distinct subject.
However, the benefits of this sacred Surah are given in various positions. One of the main benefits which were also described by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was to recite this Surah al Waqia for the sake of stability in terms of finance. Similarly, one can recite this Surah himself and try to teach to our children so that it would become a trend and habit of the children. In this manner, no one will get unstable in your home town, and you can follow it.
Apart from this, this surah al-Aqsa also tells the life of the future i.e. the journey of the Day of Judgment. It clarifies those human beings about their life after here in the next world. It also details human beings that what would be done to them like reward or punishment to them. So, we can say that this Surah not only tells us about future life but also about this life.
Surah Waqia before sleeping
Life becomes easier if we recite what we are asked to do in this universe. Allah Almighty has given us a task to recite this holy and sacred book of Allah every day in this world. It is very easy to recite this Surah al-Waqia loudly. Similarly, we should invest our time in reciting this sacred book. However, the perfect time for reciting this Surah is night time. It is also said by our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that the best time to recite Surah-Al-Waqia is before sleeping. It is mentioned in Ibn Sunni 620 that Prophet said, whoever goes to recite surah al Waqiah at night time would never encounter poverty. Therefore, we should not waste our time, but we need to recite this on a daily basis. It will strengthen our faith in Islam, and it will stabilize our financial position. One thing you need to remember that every person who recites it must recite three times Durood-e-Ibrahim before and after reciting it. Allah Almighty will put barakah in your property and life and will bestow you whatever you have expected for. Thus, you are advised to recite it after Salhat-e-Isha for a lifetime if you would like to stable your life for the rest of your life.
