Almost all the bachelors who moves to the different locations to study or to work stays in different types of co-living spaces.

In India the initial thought for any individual is to start living in hostels or paying guests accommodations. Hostels or paying guests accommodations charges differently according to the needs they would offer. The problem with most of the hostels or paying guests accommodations is that there is no cleanliness.

Because of the issues with hostels or paying accommodations, there are people who would think to rent a house or a flat to start living with friends. Of course, there are problems with this as well.

Difficult to find out the friends to agree to live in the same house or a flat since the needs are different to different individuals.
Even our friends agree to stay, nobody guarantees on the number of months they would stay.

But is it always necessary to rent a house or a flat to start living with friends?

No, now a day’s people are thinking to rent a house or a flat to start living with new flatmates.

Is there any way to find new flatmates who suits them?

There are many ways to find new flatmates who suits them. One of the easiest ways is to write a post on the Facebook groups. Yes, there are many Facebook groups where you can post your room details and other information.

However, it is not that easy to rent a room and find the flatmates who suits you using the Facebook group. Since the Facebook groups has many users and most of them posts, you post becomes invisible within a day. It would take almost 10 mins for a person to scroll on the Facebook group to find your post.

After doing so much of research, I have realised that there is no website which serves the exact purpose. This is when I thought there is a need to fix the problem.

After speaking with so many people who faces this problem. Also, recollected my own experience of staying in paying accommodating for almost 6 years and staying in co-living space in UK for 2 years. I have created a platform RoomOccupiers to list a room and find a room easily.

Created a form to list a room where all the details about the room, amenities, existing flatmates and flatmate preferences can be given.

As soon as the website is created, there are many people started listing the rooms as well as found the rooms.
