1. Pokemon Go: put augmented reality on the global stage

Many people don't know augmented reality can be in their pocket until Pokémon goes to the application store in 2016 and takes the world with a storm. Video games have become viral for years - what makes Pokemon different is the use of augmented reality on anyone's cellphone, which inspires the masses of people to explore their neighborhoods and cities to look for battle Pokémon, treasure, and gym.

Even though the game is not the first example of augmented reality, the virality carries an AR to the global stage, showing off its potential to call and increase interactivity in the application.

2. Stryker: Reducing product demo costs

Stryker provides medical equipment saving life to the hospital, and part of bringing their technology to the market involves demo their products. When they asked us to partner with them in a marketing campaign, we learned that their sales representatives transported their 16th 48-year-old 4K legal form to the demonstration at the hospital - which cost additional costs for their representatives.

To simplify their sales process without sacrificing their ability to show off their products, we place their 3D products in an augmented reality experience so that sales power can bring the tower of six feet in their back pocket. Augmented reality applications for health care not only reduce the costs needed for demo products, but also make the experience easier on your sales force.

Demo products do not always involve sales representatives with AR. In the example of this augmented reality, IKEA, Shopify, and other retailers have utilized the power of the 3D model to allow customers to see what products will look like directly.

For IKEA applications, places augmented reality counts the user's room size and allow users to place full-scale furniture in their homes to preview if the furniture will match their space. For Shopify shop owners, this means introducing 3D models of their products in the application so that customers can see every corner as if they are looking at items in the store. For the retail industry, Augmented Reality is suspected of the purchase process and can increase conversion of up to 250%.

4. Eaton: Improve the performance of trade shows with AR

When we were approached by Eaton to improve their trade show experience, we used AR technology to exchange cars to the trading show floor even though the application to highlight Eaton's electronic components. Not only can you trade showing off the participants clearly seeing Eaton products, but they can get specific insights about how they work in the show without the need to establish other demonstrations with representatives later.

The best way to learn is through real-world examples, and Augmented Reality companies with advanced products to show them in a way that tells clear and interesting stories.

5. Google expedition: improve learning through AR

Augmented Reality also has the potential to transform education, and Google has become one of the initial adopters with the launch of Google Expeditions in 2015. Using cellular applications, the teacher can push their classroom boundaries by allowing students to explore scenes 360 degrees virtual reality and see 3D models in-class use augmented reality.

When AR is used in the learning industry, the benefits include increased involvement and higher learner retention. While Google's expeditions are made for use at school, there are applications for AR in company learning as well.
