Let’s Start the Solution

Easy Fixes of Linksys Velop Wi-Fi keep Disconnecting

Do the following steps:

Reducing Wireless Interference

If the connection drops frequently on your wireless device, then ensure the following:

  • GHz interference: If your Linksys router and the near wireless devices like a cordless phone or telephone system are using the same frequency, then interference may occur.  To resolve this issue, you just change the router channel to 1 or 3 depending on the number of channels available so that overlapping of channels does not take place.
  • Physical obstruction: The problem arises due to physical obstructions like walls and floors at your place may result in connection dropping issues. To resolve this issue just move the device away from all these obstructions.
  • Placement of the router: We are suggested to place the router at least three feet above the ground. If you are placing the router at a high location, then keep a distance of at least two feet between the ceiling, tips, and walls. In case, the  signal can pass through the floors, then you can place the router on the top floor.

Update the Firmware of the Linksys
