Private RDP
RDP and VPS are the same, the only difference is RDP is shared with many users and VPS is a private server, it's non shared with full root admin access. In VPS you can choose O/S accordingly like Windows 10/ Windows 2012/ Windows 2016. VPS term stands for Virtual Private Server. The term is very popular among web hosting enthusiasts and providers. It basically means a virtual box or a virtual machine (VM). It could be used with or without a domain name. VPS is a virtual machine that you can use to host your data privately. Since VPS runs its own OS, you can get a Windows or Linux VPS server.
VPS services are being sold as a web hosting service. VPS is a server on its own while having a dedicated IP and administrator access. But Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a Microsoft protocol designed to facilitate application, data transfer, security and encryption between client users, devices and a virtual network server. It enables a remote user to add a graphical interface to the desktop of another computer. Each RDP Server is shared among 5-15 remote desktop accounts. You don't get administrator access on the server but all the work you do in your RDP Account are 100% private.
In Private VPS you have Full Administrator Rights. It means you can do anything in Private RDP. You can install any software which you want to install whereas RDP doesn't come with admin access. Users have no permission to change any settings and install any software.
Here is the list what you can do in Private RDP:
- Private Windows OS
- Automated Traffic Generation
- Hosting a Website
- Running a BOT
- Running BTC core
- File Transfer
- Uploading/Downloading
- Torrenting
- Storage
- Running Macros
- IP (for the servers IP)
- Running apps 24/7 Features
Overview:
- RDP Access
- Allow Jingling/Hitleap/etc
- Allow Server Restart
- Full Administrator
- Dedicated (Private) IP
- Non-Shared RDP Servers With Full Administrator Access.
That totally depends on your needs. If you want to host websites or want complete control of the Server, you should probably go for a VPS. If you want a shared server with high configuration and without administrator access you should go for RDP Account.
In brief, RDP provides remote display and input capabilities over network connections for Windows-based applications running on a server, while VPS is a virtual machine that you can use to host your data and since VPS runs its own OS, you can get a Windows or Linux VPS server.
