Swelling and varicose veins occur when blood does not flow properly throughout the body. This is commonly experienced by pregnant women. Swelling of the legs is usually due to poor circulation, which usually happens when you are constipated or have blood clots. Muscle strain occurs when too much force is used on a specific part of the body while standing or walking. Most of the time, muscle pain and varicose veins are caused by pregnancy, but other conditions can lead to irritation, swelling, and more.
