Which UPI App is better? Is it Google Pay or Samsung Pay?

The daily transaction we did in earlier days is giving money and taking the product or service away. The money transaction we did is giving the money to the seller. The buyer pays the money in hand to the seller. But the introduction of UPI (Unified Payment Interface), a prompt payment system changed it all. This was introduced by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), an RBI regulated body. The UPI changed the meaning of the transaction of money.

Features of UPI

  1. The most important feature of UPI is that the person can make the transaction of a big amount without the tension of carrying cash.
  2. The money which will be transacted will be paid directly from the bank account of the user.
  3. The payment is instant which makes the transaction more comfortable.
  4. The use of UPI apps is very simple.

Samsung Pay

  1. Samsung pay is a wallet where you can put money for instant transactions and pay from your bank account through UPI. To use Samsung, Pay, the user has to purchase a Samsung phone and use the phone for payment. The user can add up cards for payment.

  1. Payment can be initiated from the lock screen or home screen just with a swipe-up gesture. Samsung pay uses extra security for payment which makes the app slow.
  2. The recognition of NFC is also slower.
  3. Samsung pay supports gift cards, discounts, and membership cards.

Google Pay

  1. Google Pay can be used on any android device that the user is using. The user can add up the cards to Google pay for a transaction.
  2. The security system is a bit different from Samsung pay. The user has to secure the app with either biometric on the lock screen or after opening the app with a 4-digit password.
  3. The user interface is easy to use. Just click on the name of the Google pay id of a person and then the payment or receive button will appear. From there the user can transact the amount of money. There is also an option of request money. Through this feature, the user can request the amount of money from another user as per requirement.
  4. This also supports the feature of cashback offers, discount offers, and gift cards.

Which one is Better?

As Samsung is not giving MST technology with its latest phones. The NFC is good for Google Pay. Most of the smartphone has NFC technology which enables the user to use Google pay on their phones. The user can use Google pay for payment as it makes the payment secure by encrypting the end to the end-user. Google Pay is easy to use and more important the user doesn't have to buy a Samsung smartphone to use Samsung Pay.

Conclusion

In the end, the choice is up to the users: whether to use Samsung Pay or Google Pay. The user can take up any smartphone he wants to make a payment. Both are good in their way and they can perform.
