Can today's Gen Z generation imagine their life without mobile phones? The answer is No they cannot imagine their life without cell phones. Because they were born in an era in which they had phones from the beginning. Since the last decade as technology is progressing our regular cell phone has turned into Smartphones. In the present, it is hard to find a person who can survive without a phone. Today, we will be talking about how mobile phones changed human life.
- Best Source of Communication:- People who are in their 70's or even in their '50s can relate to what I am saying? How their life was hard without a phone since having a telephone was considered a luxury at that time. Not everyone had phones in their houses. But as time started progressing and from early 2000 mostly everyone had a phone in their house. People had a way to communicate with their loved ones any time they wanted.
If you are getting late for your office you can let them know in advance that you won't be on time. You don't have to go out with your friends for casual chit-chat since now you can talk to them over the phone. In case of an emergency, you can call the police immediately. Like in the past we don't have to send letters and wait for a reply or find a phone booth to call someone. Since we have this amazing gadget in our hands.
- Helped us survive in a hard time:- We wouldn't be able to survive the past two years. If there were no mobile phones, wants to know why? The pandemic changed our life. I think we can agree on that. Locked inside of our houses. We had nothing to do, the schools, market, and companies were closed. If we didn't have our smartphones our kids wouldn't be able to attend online classes. We wouldn't be able to work from home. There would be no source of communication for us to talk to our acquaintances. But we were not only able to call them but also could see them through the video calls. Bringing us closer and updated during this horrific time.
- Changed the meaning of entertainment:- If we give it some thought you are going to realize? Our life was completely boring in the past. We only had a tv in the name of entertainment. But now everyone in our family has a phone. You can not only talk to anyone but also make some use of your time. There are thousands of things that are just fingertips aways from us. You can watch movies, tv shows, play videos, listen to music. Get information on any subject that you would like. You can now sit at home and never be bored when you have lots of things to do.
- People's livelihood depends on it:- Doing Business is now much easier. Your presence in the office is not always required anymore. You can communicate with your business associates through conference calls and video calls and discuss important matters while sitting in the comfort of your home. YouTubers wouldn't be able to exist if there were no mobile phones. YouTube is not only a source of our entertainment but YouTubers' livelihood depends on it. If we didn't have our phones we wouldn't be able to watch their videos and have a fun time doing so.
- Gave us various platforms to connect with the world:- You can now make friends on Facebook, have followers on Instagram, have fun with Snapchat filters and text your friends through WhatsApp and do lots of fun activities on various apps like reading ebooks on our phones.
Mobile Phones have ingrained their way in our life now it is hard for us to separate ourselves from them. Phones may have been invented to communicate with people. But our technology gave us the power to turn into more and have the entire world at our fingertips.
