President Biden’s Administration has started to Reunite Migrant Families

US President Joe Biden’s administration is expanding its effort to find and reunite migrant families. Those migrant families were separated under President Donald Trump as part of a zero-tolerance policy on illegal crossings. On Monday, a federal task force is launching a new program that officials say will expand efforts to find parents as many of whom are in remote Central American communities. It would help them return to the United States and they will get at least 3-years of legal residency and other assistance. The executive director of the administration’s Family Reunification Task Force, Michelle Brane said, “We recognize that we can’t make these families completely whole again.
