Jim McFarland Joliet is a community college official who has dedicated most of his life to helping people of all ages. Jim McFarland Joliet was born and raised in Marion, Indiana, and later shifted to Joliet, Illinois. He became a social worker because of the desire to help people who supported him so many years back. His journey towards this career started when his mother had cancer caused by asbestos exposure from working in factories that produced brake pads. He has spent his life in public service and has dedicated over six decades to making the world a better place. He firmly believes that it is our moral duty to improve the well-being of others as much as we can as they help us in our time of need. He is a great social worker in the community where he lives. As a member of the Community College Board, he helps more than one million community college students. He was trusted by people and believed to help solve the problems of fellow citizens. He also became an active volunteer when a disaster happened like hurricane Katrina and many other calamities that threatened the lives of Americans. His experience working as a Social Worker made him different from other people.
