Tips to take a perfect video of a Wedding

Be fast an agile, take the less you can for the perfect shoot

A wedding morning is a rather standard process. The groom and his groomsmen relax as the bride and her bridesmaids have their hair and cosmetics done. Then you'll be frantically scurrying about till the wedding is finished. As a result, it's better to place the heavy bag in the corner and relax your shoulders and back. Carry only what you require.

It's pointless to have every lens option available at the same time. Running about with a camera and two lenses is ideal. Make sure you have spare batteries and memory cards that have been formatted. Nothing is more annoying than having to inform the newlyweds that they can't toss the bouquet yet because your batteries have died. It's happened to me before. Don't be one of them people. Find an outlet if required, and prepare a charging station for any batteries you've previously used.

Always remember a good audio device for the perfect record of a wedding

Weddings do not allow for re-"I Dos." You haven't done your job if you don't document events as they occur. It's ideal to record from numerous audio sources. Is the sound captured by your camera of good quality? If not, make sure you have external recorders on hand. Instead of placing the microphone on the bride, use a lavalier microphone on the officiant or groom.

If the DJ is providing sound, you may be able to connect to their system. That is why speaking with the DJ ahead of time is beneficial. Keep in mind that every DJ is unique, so there's no assurance that you'll get good sound. As a result, you should only use them as a backup audio source.
