End Unintended Intrauterine Pregnancy Using an MTP Kit

Pregnancies can be of different types. They can be differentiated on the basis of the number of eggs released and fertilized, their physical appearance and differences, etc. Some of the common types of pregnancies are intrauterine pregnancy, tubal or ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, lupus pregnancy, singlet pregnancy, multiple pregnancies, etc. Pregnancies can either be planned or they can also be unintended at times. Today, unintended pregnancies can be ended very safely through surgical abortion methods like vacuum aspiration, D&E , or abortion kit online buy and use that has made childbirth a choice, rather than a compulsion for many.

Understanding intrauterine pregnancies:

In intrauterine pregnancies, a gestational sac or a pregnancy sac is detected inside the uterus (womb) of a woman. This sac carries a fetal pole or a yolk sac. A yolk sac is an important source of nourishment for the embryo. It also helps in the development of structures like reproductive organs, umbilical cord, blood cells, etc.

After one is tested positive on a pregnancy test, doctors do a transvaginal scan to identify an intrauterine pregnancy. The gestational sac can be visualized generally around the 5th week of pregnancy.

This scan can show two types of intrauterine pregnancies - Viable intrauterine pregnancy or non-viable intrauterine pregnancy

  • Viable intrauterine pregnancy: It is characterized by the presence of a pregnancy sac inside the uterus with a fetus. The heartbeat of the fetus can be detected.

  • Non-viable intrauterine pregnancy: It is also sometimes called an intrauterine pregnancy of uncertain viability. This is the case where the gestational sac is present in the womb but is found to be empty. Sometimes, the heartbeat of the fetus is not properly detectable.

This condition can be considered normal in the very early stages of pregnancy, but if the same conditions are observed in the later stages, then, it can be a sign of failed pregnancy.

  • Ending unintended pregnancies:

In a failed pregnancy, the tissues are discharged by spontaneous abortion (miscarriage) or may require a medical or surgical abortion procedure like Dilation and Curettage.

In case of viable pregnancies, the patient can end it out of choice by using an online MTP kit or surgical abortion procedures like vacuum aspiration, D&E, etc.

An MTP kit can be used to end a pregnancy between 5 to 12 weeks of gestation, and a vacuum aspiration (suction abortion) can be performed till the 14th week. These are the popular first-trimester abortion option. Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) is an option for the second trimester.

  • Medication abortion method:

Mifepristone and Misoprostol tablets that come in a cheap MTP kit are used to induce a medical abortion. The tablet Mifepristone (1 tablet of 200 mg) stops the action of the progesterone hormone and causes the uterus lining to shed. Then the Misoprostol tablets (4 tablets of 200 mcg each) cause contractions in the uterus and loosen the cervix muscles. This helps to push out the pregnancy tissues from the womb. However, these abortion pills must be used only if prescribed by a licensed doctor after a thorough medical examination.
