DC medium pacer, Shardul Thakur, was also fined 50 percent of his match fee for breaching the TATA Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct. The IPL released a statement on the website.

Delhi Capitals lost the match against Rajasthan Royals by a margin of 15 runs. When 36 runs were needed in the last over, Rovman Powell hit three sixes in Obed McCoy's bowling. In the third ball, Obed McCoy bowled a full toss and the umpire didn't give it as there was no ball above waist height.
On the other hand, the DC camp demanded that the third delivery be called a no-ball for height, with Pant asking his batters, Powell and Kuldeep Yadav, to leave the pitch and Assistant Coach Amre entering the field to speak with the umpire.

Rishabh Pant "accepted the sanction" for the "Level 2 offence" under Article 2.7 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
Shardul Thakur also admitted to the Level 2 offence under Article 2.8 of the IPL Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction.
Praveen Amre was banned for one match and admitted to the Level 2 offence under Article 2.20 of the IPL Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction.
