Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana

The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is a collection of skill-development initiatives aimed at empowering the disadvantaged and reducing poverty. Employment is difficult to come by in rural locations, thus the plan concentrates on offering job possibilities, placement assistance, and other services. It promotes young people to freely learn new skills or enhance their existing ones, to become self-employed, and to pursue better employment prospects. It is socially inclusive, enabling applicants and participants from all walks of life to apply and participate. When it comes to seeking work, rural households confront several hurdles. These difficulties include a lack of formal education, marketable skills, and financial means. The Deen Dayal Upadhyay Scheme aims to close that gap by giving kids from rural homes with work possibilities, placement assistance, job retention, and international chances. The scheme, and its collaboration with AISECT, strives to deliver a consistent monthly income that is equal to or more than the amount they get in daily wages.
