The Music Scene is Going Up a Notch with Dre Banks Announcing his Video Launch

The hip hop music scene is seeing a rise in popularity with each passing day. The genre has had some amazing artists to grace it over the past three decades. They have not only made a name for themselves but also brought the genre into the mainstream forms of music. Ever since people adapted to it, it is as if they were deprived of this art and now do not want to let it go.

The likes of Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, and Kendrick Lamar among others have contributed to making hip hop music what it is today. But a lot of the names might not go as big as the ones mentioned, but certainly deserve to be talked about.

Andre “Dre” Banks is one name who has been hugely popular among his fans but at this time you won’t see him get mentioned on mainstream media as much. Being a follower of the hip hop scene in the country, I can attest to the fact that this lack of attention is going to be short lived. Banks’ music has a touch to it that just catches your ears, and you can’t seem to get rid of the beat.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Banks is not really a stranger to releasing successful music. His songs have sold around seven million streams combined on Spotify and this is just him getting started. He has been pretty popular on Youtube as well where his song has generated over 200k views in less than a year.

Speaking to him recently about his future projects, he told me “Music is the life and soul of this society. I want to give the people something to cherish and enjoy especially with the pandemic in place, I guess there is need for all of us to contribute in the way we know best. Now that things are getting back to normal, I would like my fans to know that there’s a few projects I am working on right now. The closest to completion is a digitally animated music video for my song Off the Chain. Pretty sure you’re gonna’ love it.”

This is big news given this would be the first time Banks would use an animated video for his music. Videos can be a defining factor in a song’s success and with the Dre Banks’ creativity we can rely on a rather amazing video to treat our eyeballs. His music is contributing towards the rise of hip hop music and with this video coming out, we would be able to see his impact on the industry sooner rather than later.
