Many people try to gain muscle mass, yet few succeed. Fortunately today I am speaking from experience! Indeed, I succeeded in gaining 12 kg of pure muscle in only 8 months. Below I reveal the secrets of my success!



The nutrition aspect 

There are many failures during the mass gain period, most of the time due to poor nutrition. The first very important aspect is to define your average caloric intake, to calculate it you can use the myfitnesspal application (free) or count them manually (calories always marked on the product). 


Once your intake is calculated, add 15% in +. This way, you will bring the necessary energy to your body to build muscle. 


Secondly, increase your protein intake. Indeed, you will need more protein to build muscle. Protein is the glue that binds muscles together, without it, it is impossible to build muscle! According to various articles on my favorite site that helped me learn all these things MuscleKey, it would be advisable to consume 1.5 grams of protein per kg of body weight. 



The training aspect 

This aspect is not the most essential, indeed most people manage to train more or less correctly. However I will give you some advice on this subject. 


You have to be disciplined, stick to your routine and don't start taking days off, otherwise your muscle mass gain may turn into fat mass gain. 


You should increase the weight gradually, you will see that thanks to the new calorie intake, you will have more energy. About every two weeks, it is advisable to increase the amount of weight you lift. This way you keep your muscles in constant demand, perfect for a successful weight gain!
