DIY Steps for a Pillar Candle

Natural pillar candles are simple to create and look fantastic when decorated. Engrave it, add ribbons, or decorate it with dried flowers to make it unique. You can use them as pillars if you like. Candles that have been meticulously handcrafted are excellent Valentine's Day gifts. Candles can be included in a gift basket or presented as a homemade gift with a romantic scent.

1. Melt the Wax

Do the following while the wax melts: (refer to double boiler instructions). To melt wax, you'll need a double boiler.

2. Insert the Wick into the Hole

It's critical to choose a wick that's the same size as the mold. Insert the wick into the mold's hole. Change the position of the wick. I don't believe I need to explain why this is significant.

3. Wick Spinning Reel Holder

Tie one end of the toxin free candles to the wick rod while holding it steady. A wooden skewer was shown in the final image. Nothing about how it operates has changed.

4. Insert the Wick into the Hole

Wick screws are an excellent technique to secure wicks. A Phillips screwdriver is required to tighten the wick screw. If the wick screw is turned too far, the wick and mold may be damaged. When tightened, the wick screw prevents the wick from falling through the lid, but it does not seal the entrance (use mold sealer for that).

5. Drip Pit

Fill the wick hole, wick screw, and wick with mold sealant. This prevents the wax from evaporating. Simply insert the sealer into the appropriate slot and press down to create a leak-proof seal. To seal a screw, wrap the wick around the screw first. The wick should be hidden.

6. First-pour

Once the wax has achieved the proper temperature, which is usually between 175 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit for most natural pillar candles, add the additives, fragrance oil, and colors to the pouring pot and stir them in with a wooden spoon.

7. Contribute to Closing the Gap

If you don't want any wax to melt, please wait. Drill holes in the candle's bottom to allow the wax to shrink as it dries. These holes are designed to accommodate the completed candle's diameter.

Conclusion

The toxin free candles will burn evenly and safely if the holes are made where they are pointed out around the wick. No matter how many holes there are, it will not work.
