Rules and Regulations for Ramadan are not so different from the rules for the rest of the Months. The rules and regulations for Umrah are almost the same every month. Umrah Visa type

Kids Age Restrictions 


Pilgrims are now allowed to bring their offspring for umrah as well. Pilgrims must obtain an appropriate Umrah Permit through the Eatmarna for children over 5 years old. However, children under 5 years old are discharged from this requirement.

Well when the unfortunate pandemic of Corona Virus hit the World, it caused a wave of fear in the world. The ill-fated pandemic affected the Umrah and Hajj as well. Well, the latest update for Umrah 2022 made it official there is no need to provide a negative PCR.


According to the latest announcement made by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Pilgrims are required to provide a negative PCR or rapid antigen test to cross the threshold of Saudi Arabia for intercontinental Umrah Pilgrims has been lifted. The move has been taken due to the decay in Covid-19 cases within the Kingdom corresponding with the start of the new Umrah season that has begun on 3 August 2022. Nonetheless, it’s important to remind you that the requirement for obtaining health insurance to cover Covid-19 treatment costs is still in effect.


The Barrier Removal around the Kaaba


The expedition of Covid-19-related restrictions within the Kingdom is also connoted by the removal of barriers surrounding the Holy Kaaba for the first time in the past 2 years. Ministry of Hajj and Umrah made this announcement official and uploaded the news on their social platform as well. A picture of the Holy Kaaba with no barrier was uploaded on Twitter with the caption: “The removal of barrier around the Holy Kaaba”. The removal of the barrier permits the pilgrims to approach the Holy Kaaba. The Saudi authorities urge all pilgrims to obey the prevalent health precautions and regulations.
