You can also create a "Track Stack" by selecting tracks and hitting "+|+D." If you're a power user, you may have noticed that Logic Pro X has several prescriptive features for single-track overdubs. You can also store alternatives, which is helpful for comping.

There's also a "Trim" tool, which helps split logic regions. You can also right-click a compositing item and select all items at once.
