Everything about hair extensions and their types

Every woman wants to look pretty and in order to that, there are several features that need to be taken care of as they combine and count for the overall looks. Hair are one of the most important part as they majorly contribute to the overall look. Now, the length and styling of hair vary and are set depending upon the individual’s choice.

Reducing the height of hair is quite easy as one can directly walk into a salon and get it done but what if someone wants their hair to be long and cannot wait for eternity? Hair extensions happen to be the best way of having the type of hair that an individual wishes for as they come in different types and styles like the invisible bead extensions.

What are hair extensions?

Hair extensions are strands of synthetic or real human hair that are attached to a person's natural hair to add length, volume, or color. They can be attached using various methods, such as braiding, bonding, or clamping, and can be made from a variety of materials, including human hair, synthetic fibers, or a combination of both. Hair extensions are often used to change the appearance of a person's hair without the need for cutting or styling their natural hair. They are popular among people who want to add length or volume to their hair, or who want to try out different hairstyles without committing to a permanent change.

Types of hair extensions

There are several types of hair extensions available on the market. Some common types include:

·        Clip-in hair extensions: These are the most popular and easiest to use. They can be easily clipped into your natural hair, and removed just as easily.

·        Tape-in hair extensions: These are applied by attaching them to small sections of your natural hair using a special tape adhesive.

·        Fusion hair extensions: These are applied by bonding the extension hair to small sections of your natural hair using a hot glue gun or a keratin bonding agent.

·        Sew-in hair extensions: These are applied by sewing the extensions into cornrow braids in your natural hair.

·        Micro bead hair extensions:The micro bead weft hair extensions are applied by attaching small beads to your natural hair and then securing the extension hair to the beads using a special tool.

It is important to care for hair extensions properly in order to keep them looking healthy and natural. This may include washing, drying, and styling them according to the manufacturer's instructions, and avoiding activities that may cause damage to the extensions.
