choosing window style

Considering the abundance of choices, it might be tough to zero in on the one ideal window style that's ideal for your house. Aluminium or polyvinyl chloride (PVC)? The amount of natural light and fresh air entering a space also depends on the window's mechanism. Which kind of slider (horizontal, vertical, tilt-and-turn, or bespoke) do you prefer, and why? Read on for more on window types and construction materials:

Aluminium Windows

Aluminum is a strong, lightweight material that can be shaped into various window configurations. Aluminum is often used for window frames since it requires less upkeep and is thus popular among builders and homeowners. Windows made from aluminium are best used where they won't be subjected to corrosion.

Remember that there are many kinds of aluminium windows, each with its level of quality. At TJ Projects, we adhere to a rigorous quality policy. We have installed thermal break bars in all of our windows. This shields the window from the extremes of indoor and outside temperatures, eliminating "cold-bridging," and extending the window's useful life.

PVCu

The style and quality of PVCu windows may differ substantially. Vinyl's tendency to trap air makes the best of them excellent insulators. High-quality PVCu windows are long-lasting, incredibly sturdy, and need almost minimal upkeep. TJ Projects' windows have superior thermal qualities that allow for insulation ratings as high as A+. Both new construction and renovation projects often use PVCu windows.
