The Future Depends on Empowering Women, Youth, and Students; Perspective from Prof. Jerono P Rotich

Many agree that for a brighter future for any country, one must understand the value of empowering youth, students, and women. For any country's growth, only men, in their peak earning years, can succeed with help.

They would require help from the women and the younger generation to make innovations and tasks easier with their creativity, and the strength that women bring to any work is immense. Hence this article will talk about how empowering women, youth, and students are and will always be beneficial to any and every country.

The notion that young people can do extraordinary things is at the heart of youth empowerment. When young people are exposed to exciting ideas and possibilities and the skills to strengthen their confidence, they can take on anything.

An empowered young person understands their own skills, self-determination, and value. They are at ease with attempting new things. They are willing to take risks and understand that failure is a step forward, not a reason to quit. They do not base their decisions on the views of others.

They defend their beliefs. And they know that they have established a foundation of self-empowerment on which to rely in times of difficulty or when they feel lost and need to re-calibrate.

On the contrary, women are the ones who keep the strength alive in the household and all arenas wherever they are present. But due to the lack of opportunities being provided to them, they don't get to showcase their talents and skills and be empowered.

The women in a job must also fulfill the job responsibilities while managing homes & families. The woman's life is hard, but she gets little or no appreciation. There are a lot of women who are incredibly talented & multitaskers but have no recognition in the society.

Gender inequality is a crucial impediment to women's progress and success.

This means that we treat males and females unequally, even for the same task. This is generally the case in rural societies. The family always encourages a male child to attend school while the female child is told to learn household work.

One woman who we have chosen to give reference to our raiders is one of the leading women across the globe. She works on spreading awareness about such topics, empowering all people around her, and teaching them the importance of paying forward. Hence, the chain of doing good continues beyond the coming future.
