 Women Empowerment

Our Volunteer Abroad programmes for women's empowerment are designed to support women in gaining the same level of independence, educational opportunities, and respect in society as men. We put a lot of effort into educating women, developing skills, and creating money through the volunteer programme. Women will gain self-assurance, a new identity, the opportunity to find employment or earn a greater salary, and the potential to secure a better future through the skills they learn. The Sustainable Development Goals of the UN, which seek to alleviate poverty and gender inequality while improving the standard of education and economic growth, are supported by our programmes for women's empowerment. The following list of nations includes India, Nepal.

Due to numerous social and economic circumstances, women worldwide endure great challenges, particularly in emerging nations. Their advancement and development are significantly hampered by gender inequality and limited access to high-quality education. Women have fewer opportunities to design their own lives and achieve financial and personal independence, and this disparity is visible in classrooms, workplaces, and homes. The most affected groups are women in rural and semi-urban areas. They frequently have to forgo their schooling, which cuts off a profitable source of gainful employment, or they are driven into young marriages. In addition, they take the weight of child raising and domestic abuse. Our volunteer programmes for women's empowerment overseas have a track record of enhancing participants' lives and igniting societal change.

Indian Empowerment

The main objectives of our volunteer programme for Women Empowerment in India include skill development, women's education, and boosting confidence. Women will gain self-assurance, a new identity, the opportunity to find employment or earn a greater salary, and the potential to secure a better future through the skills they learn. As a result of early marriage and conventional households, many of the female participants in our programme are housewives who never had the chance to complete their education. After finishing primary school, some dropped out and became heavily dependent on their families. Most women want to learn English so they can find work, communicate with people outside of their community, or even teach their kids the language.

One of the largest issues that still bedevils, impedes, and disablingly affects modern society in all of India today is gender disparity. Early marriages being coerced and spousal abuse and violence being tolerated since there isn't enough support are both very typical in underprivileged and poor societies.

Your daily sessions, which are typically three to four hours long, will be planned and prepared with the help of our coordinator for women's empowerment. We encourage flexibility in the contemporary themes being taught and do not impose a strict structure or curriculum on your daily work. Although no special abilities (other than English proficiency) are required to participate in our program, we do welcome anyone with a teaching background, those who can help develop curricula, or those who can improve spoken English for our ladies groups. We hope that this programme will give you the chance to establish closer ties with your neighbourhood and to contribute to the cultural diversity of the area.
