Endocannabinoid System (ECS):

The endocannabinoid system is the body's master regulator homeostasis (balance). When there is a dysfunction in the system, or there is an "endocannabinoid deficiency," the body becomes unbalanced and contribute to illness and degenerative disease.

Pure Terpenes, Not Essential Oils

In order to adhere to the desires of cannabis purists, we've chosen to use pure terpenes that are found in fresh cannabis. [Some history: version 1.2 of this formula used essential oils of various plants, but because essential oils contain many other terpenes (many not found in cannabis) feedback from our user panel felt it deviated too far from what a true terpene experience for cannabis users should be.] Our base of hemp seed oil also ensures only those compounds you'd expect to find in cannabis are used in this formulation.

Terpenes: A Natural & Safe Complement to Cannabis Therapy

Cannanda is your source for highly prized terpenes. These are the natural compounds that give plants and flowers their distinctive odours and aroma. In essence, these are the "active ingredients" in essential oils.

For the cannabis plant, there are two major categories of plant compounds that determine the characteristics of the "strain." First are the cannabinoids. Well known compounds in this class include THC and CBD (among many others). Depending on the strain of cannabis, the proportions of these cannabinoids range, for example, from high THC/low CBD strains commonly sought by recreational users, to the low THC/high CBD strains prized by medicinal users.

The second major class of compounds-and the scientific basis behind Cannanda-are the terpenes. Here again, there are many distinct compounds in this class, such as limonene, alpha-pinene, beta-caryophyllene, linalool, and beta-myrcene. Their relative amounts are a key defining difference between strains. For example, indica strains are typically higher in beta-myrcene, while lower amounts are usually found in sativas. Also, the ratio of these terpenes (called the "terpene profile") is what helps deliver a specific effect in the user. So ultimately, changing the terpene ratio in your cannabis changes its effect.

CB2 Wellness Blend Cannanda does not contain THC or CBD meaning you can receive all the positive health benefits that cannabidiol offers without experiencing the "high" feeling. Made with natural terpenes from botanical sources to promote the health of the endocannabinoid system (ECS). CB2 Wellness Blend may help to reduce pain and inflammation, reduce anxiety and depression, balance immune function, as well as enhance and boost the therapeutic health benefits of CBD while reducing tolerance and increase the effectiveness...
