A Globe valve controls leak tightness and safety in high-point vents and low-point drains. They are popularly used in residential and industrial locations as they have a strong shutting mechanism and are less receptive to faults and leakages. In cases where there is a requirement for the upstream fluid flow and when a steady fluid glide is not necessary, globe valves are used.

2.      Fuel oil systems.

3.      Feedwater or chemical feed systems.

4.      Boiler and main steam vents and drain.

5.      Turbine lube oil system and others.

6.      Process plants, power plants, and wastewater plants.

What is the working of Float Valves?

 

A ball-cock valve, better known as a float valve, is a plumping valve that plays a role in controlling the level of liquid in a tank by opening and closing on its own. The valve is mechanically operated by a float, and the flow of water is regulated by a ball. The main valve, which is installed horizontally and not vertically, is controlled with the help of a sub-valve. The two types of float type valves are a low-side float valve and a high-side float valve.

A float valve is used in applications that vary in the range of pressure required. These throttling devices work on an automatic regulation to control and manage the flow of liquid.
